"In
the world of racing there are many taxing and desperate tasks,
none of which are as hard as keeping the horses sound or of course
treating injured horses. As an employee of Marcus Tregoning at
Kingwood House Stables for 7 and half years, I had the greatest
pleasure of being hands on with the physio of the horses.
As
Marcus himself is somewhat of a genius when it comes to the re-training
and rehabilitation of injured horses, just look at the likes of
FATH, ALBARAHIN, ALKHADEM, not to mention MUBTAKER, between them
they have tallied up an amazing 2.5 million pounds.
A
vital part of his method is using the Biomag 2 System, that delivers
pulsed magnetic therapy and phototherapy, which, using appropriate
frequencies, serves as painkillers and replaces cold compresses
to horses with knocks or sore shins, enhances fracture repair
and other injuries. As well as treating pulled, strained and even
torn muscles, I actually found that, in my opinion, there is no
better cure for sore shins in horses than using this tool. On
haematomas, swellings of any kind and amazingly broken bones.
To
us this machine has been fantastic over the years and just this
year. Marcus achieved what any trainer dreams of and that’s winning
the Derby with the superb Sir Percy. As some of you may have read,
his training was never straightforward, having trouble all year
round with his poor feet and other problems. Marcus and his team
work all hours with Sarah Pilkington, an exceptional Equine sports
massage and injury-retraining therapist. The secondary physio
she gave to the lad to do was always involving the Biomag 2 machine
and Sir Percy never goes a day without some treatment using this
machine.
To
this day we would have to say that the Biomag 2 unit and applicators
are without a doubt a vital part of the Kingwood House Stables
physio and rehabilitation. "

"
I wanted to let you know the progress we have had following the
bio mag. Amazing results. The main one is the chestnut mare with
the horrendous hock injury. Recovery throughout use has been remarkable.
She is now walking comfortably and back in the paddock. It has
been a long process but really paid off."
